Ashford Manor Bed and Breakfast & UGA North Campus | Watkinsville, GA
Alan and Kayleigh Pierce were wed on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Ashford Manor Bed & Breakfast in Watkinsville, Ga. (don’t worry, these UGA alumni managed to slip away to The Arch for a few sweet snapshots!). Their vows were said under a birch arbor that was constructed from trees found on Kayleigh’s grandmother’s farm, which made it even more of a family affair.
All of the details, from the venue down to the boutonnieres, definitely depicted the Pierce’s wish for a whimsical wedding! There were wildflowers scattered throughout the grounds, and the landscaping made this wedding look like it came straight out of a dream. The adorable flower girls wore fun flower crowns and tutus, which were almost sweeter than the cake.
Congratulations to the Pierces!
“I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.”
