Russell and Anissa were wed on a waterfront property on Wilmington Island in Savannah, Ga. They are dear friends of mine, and their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony was in the afternoon, making the light reflect off of the water and filter through the trees in the most magical way.
Anissa wore a stunning one-shouldered Vera Wang gown, and her bridesmaids wore blue knee-length dresses, accented with fun red flower necklaces. The blues and reds contrasted beautifully and portrayed the couple’s personality well.
I loved the whimsical, and yet so sophisticated, feeling of the entire day. I couldn’t be happier for these two! Thank you, Goekens, for letting me be a part of all the joy.
This wedding was featured in The Knot!

The Date October 10, A Tiffany-blue and poppy-red palette inspired the garden wedding celebration with a bit of vintage flair. Anissa wanted to support other artists, so she chose gifts and accessories from her favorite Etsy shops.”
