Love when I get to share sweet times with dear friends. These two are engaged!
I’ve known Bettina for years and am so happy for their lives to be joined as one very soon. They have been dating long distance, while Bettina has worked as a vet and Matt has been doing missions in several different countries. This was time they got to spend together.
Quoting her on their time together “…to have him here, to get the chance to go on a spontaneous date, to watch the sunset together…these are gifts I cherish. I love him and I am thankful for all we get to experience.” They are set to be wed in November.
“…Let us live where the twilight lives after dark,
In the deep drowsy blue, let us make a home.
Let us meet in the cool evening grass…”
Thank you for letting me share in your joy! Blessings!
We first bonded over our mutual love of coffee. They told me the story of their courtship; how they met at a church bible study and began dating soon thereafter. These were fun folks to photograph throughout the entirety of the day.
The men wore grey suite and the women navy dresses. There were bright yellows as accents colors, along with a plethora of hydrangeas and roses. I loved Stephanie’s wedding gown with the details of lace and A-line shape.
Each guest signed “a book” upon their entry to the ceremony to symbolize a converging of everyone’s stories and lives. The pastor (Vic Doss) gave a sweet and moving sermonette at the ceremony. We then took some photographs at the UGA arch and headed to the reception where there were family and friends and food, and lots and lots of coffee.
I loved that their engagement session (a unique book store and coffee date) mimicked the sweet favors of their wedding. I hope these photographs capture the sentiments and sweet moments of your wedding day!
Many blessings to you both!!
A special thanks to Greta Reynolds for second shooting!
