Watkinsville First Baptist Church | Sams-Hardeman House | Athens, Ga.
We first bonded over our mutual love of coffee. Michael and Stephanie told me the story of their courtship; how they met at a church bible study and began dating soon thereafter. These were fun folks to photograph throughout their big day!
The groomsmen wore gray suits, and the bridesmaids wore navy dresses. Bright yellows served as accents colors, along with a plethora of hydrangeas and roses. I loved Stephanie’s wedding gown with the A-line shape and the details of lace. Everything looked perfect, especially the venue, Sams-Hardeman House.
Each guest signed the guestbook upon their entry to the ceremony to symbolize a converging of everyone’s stories and lives. The pastor, Vic Doss, gave a sweet and moving sermonette at the ceremony. We then took some photographs at the UGA arch and headed to the reception, where there were family, friends, food, and lots and lots of coffee.
I loved that their engagement session (a unique book store and coffee date) mimicked the sweet favors of their wedding.
Many blessings to Michael and Stephanie Woodall!
A special thanks to Greta Reynolds for second shooting!
