The Foundry | Athens, GA
This sweet couple was wed this past Saturday evening at The Foundry in Athens.
Lawty and Maggie have known one another their whole lives. They began dating at the end of high school at prom and have been together ever since.
Some brides are afraid of using white as a main color for their wedding, but Maggie is not one of them. The white bridesmaids dresses looked absolutely stunning in person, and the pictures look so crisp. Even against Maggie’s bridal gown, the white bridesmaids dresses still seem to compliment it. And those white flowers with the wild greenery were perfection. Maggie also wore several heirloom pieces for the wedding, which added to the vintage feel of the wedding day.
During the ceremony, Lawty and Maggie wrote sentiments about one another before the vows were recited. I felt sorry for the folks who didn’t bring tissues! The dinner was a classic southern meal, which is quite fitting for the southern couple. Their send-off included friends and family waving sparklers as the hopped in a 1920s car.
I really enjoyed getting to know this authentic and sincere bride and groom! Your photographs are almost as beautiful as the new life you are beginning together.
Blessings to you, newlyweds!
